OUR MISSION
WE BELIEVE THAT MORE HANDS SERVE MORE NEEDS
Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust was born from compassion in the face of tragedy. The 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which devastated coastal regions such as Manginapudi (Machilipatnam) and Singaraikonda (Prakasam district), deeply moved our founder, Mr. Nandakishore Raasamsetty, and his family.
Their relief work during that disaster—and later during Cyclone Laila (2009), which left thousands homeless—planted the seed for a movement of enduring service. On August 19, 2010, that vision became reality with the establishment of Openheart Trust, dedicated to uplifting the poor and the helpless.
Our strategic priorities up to 2030 are clear and compassionate:
Providing medical aid to those who cannot afford essential healthcare.
Ensuring education for all.
Advancing women’s empowerment and promoting environmental conservation to build a just and sustainable society.
Providing relief, rehabilitation, and long-term support for communities affected by natural disasters, including emergency aid, rebuilding assistance, and community resilience programmes
Supporting the welfare of orphans, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities by offering shelter, nutrition, healthcare assistance, mobility aids, and programmes that promote dignity and self-reliance
Strengthening public health through awareness campaigns on critical issues such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, TB, mental health, sanitation, and preventive healthcare, along with regular medical camps for underserved communities
