Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust was born from compassion in the face of tragedy. The 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which devastated coastal regions such as Manginapudi (Machilipatnam) and Singaraikonda (Prakasam district), deeply moved our founder, Mr. Nandakishore Raasamsetty, and his family. Their relief work during that disaster—and later during Cyclone Laila (2009), which left thousands homeless—planted the seed for a movement of enduring service. On August 19, 2010, that vision became reality with the establishment of Openheart Trust, dedicated to uplifting the poor and the helpless.
