Openheart Trust: Empowering Lives, Inspiring Hope

Empowering Lives, Inspiring Hope Established in 2010, Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust was founded with a single purpose—to uplift the poor, the helpless, and the forgotten. Registered under the Indian Trusts Act of 1882, the organization emerged from compassion and commitment following the devastating 2004 tsunami and Cyclone Laila (2009), which inspired founder Mr. Nandakishore Raasamsetty to dedicate his life to humanitarian service. What began as a small initiative of a few compassionate individuals has evolved into a thriving NGO operating across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, supported by hundreds of volunteers transforming lives through education, healthcare, and social empowerment.

Our vision is simple yet profound: “To Reach the Unreached, To Care for the Uncared.” We believe in a bottom-up approach—working at the grassroots to ensure that every person has access to basic needs, dignity, and opportunity.

Our initiatives span key areas:

Education & Empowerment: Providing quality education, mentorship, and resources to underprivileged children, enabling them to dream and achieve.

Healthcare & Nutrition: Offering free medical aid, awareness camps, and treatment support for TB, cancer, HIV/AIDS, and COVID-19, along with maternal and child health programs.

Disaster Relief: Delivering food, shelter, and rehabilitation support during cyclones, floods, and emergencies, ensuring communities recover with resilience.

Openheart is sustained through the founder’s contributions, well-wishers’ donations, and tax- exempt support under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. We extend help irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, believing that service to humanity is service to God.

Join us in this mission of compassion—because together, we can make a difference.
