Founder & Managing Trustee
A man of deep compassion and strong conviction, Mr. R. Nandakishore stands as the guiding force behind Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust. As an employee in a Government Corporation, he dedicated his professional life to public service, yet his inner calling always leaned toward philanthropy and community welfare. His sensitivity to human suffering and his determination to act rather than just empathize became the foundation of the Trust’s philosophy — to reach the unreached and care for the uncared.
The seeds of this noble initiative were sown during the catastrophic Tsunami of 2004, which devastated large stretches of the South-Central coast of India — particularly Manginapudi in Machilipatnam and Singaraikonda in Prakasam District. Witnessing the unimaginable loss and pain of thousands moved him profoundly. With limited resources but immense willpower, he began relief efforts alongside a few like-minded individuals, distributing food, clothes, and essential aid.
Again, in 2009, when Cyclone Laila struck the East Coast and rendered many families homeless, Mr. Nandakishore and his wife worked tirelessly to arrange rehabilitation for affected communities. These experiences awakened a lifelong mission — to build a structured, transparent, and accountable platform through which social service could be carried out more systematically. Thus, on August 19, 2010, Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust was formally founded.
Under his leadership, the Trust has grown into a multifaceted institution serving across medical aid, education, women empowerment, environmental awareness, and rural development. His vision is grounded in inclusivity — serving people irrespective of caste, creed, or religion — and in sustainability, ensuring that each initiative uplifts lives for the long term.
Known for his calm disposition, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to ethics, Mr. Nandakishore continues to inspire volunteers, donors, and communities alike. For him, every act of kindness, however small, contributes to a more humane society. He remains the heart and conscience of Openheart, embodying its core values of service, compassion, and dedication.

Trustee & President
A homemaker by background and a humanitarian by spirit, Mrs. Thanujarani represent the compassionate soul of Openheart Social Organisation & Charitable Trust. Her journey from managing her household to becoming a full-time philanthropist is one of quiet strength and determination. Behind every social transformation lies a heart that feels deeply, and in the case of Openheart, that heart is hers.
When the devastating Tsunami of 2004 hit the South-Central Coast, she stood beside her husband, Mr. Nandakishore, extending relief to families who had lost everything. She helped organize shelters, distribute food and clothing, and personally consoled the affected — especially women and children. Her empathy transcended boundaries, and her belief that every human deserves dignity and care became one of the guiding principles of the Trust.
Over the years, Mrs. Rani has been instrumental in shaping Openheart’s programs for women empowerment, child welfare, and rural upliftment. Under her leadership, the Trust initiated vocational training courses, self-employment programs, and skill development workshops aimed at helping women gain financial independence. She strongly believes that empowering one woman can transform an entire family, and thus, the fabric of society.
Her humility, coupled with her unyielding spirit of service, has made her a role model for many young volunteers. She has also led environmental initiatives such as tree plantations, health awareness drives, and community clean-up campaigns — blending compassion with action.
Despite her many responsibilities, she continues to personally oversee welfare programs for widows, orphaned children, and the elderly. Her leadership style is defined not by authority but by empathy — leading by example, inspiring others through her tireless service and quiet determination.
For Mrs. Thanujarani, service is not an obligation — it is a way of life. Through Openheart, she has transformed her compassion into a collective force for good, leaving a legacy of love, strength, and social harmony.
